Surface Detect

Providing Confident Knowledge In The Fight Against Drugs

Drug-use is a big problem in Canada. Drug-use in the workplace is a significant factor in accidents causing injury and death, lost time, increased insurance costs and decreased productivity. Drug-use in our homes is having a huge impact on lives and families.

Crystal Meth addiction has become a nightmare for many families. Parents helplessly watch their children fight and lose battles with this addiction. This drug can be manufactured locally, avoiding the need for risky “trafficking across borders”. It can be manufactured cheaply, increasing profits and thus motive to sell. It can be manufactured easily, using many standard household chemicals and products. This country is on the edge of an epidemic of drug addiction and overdose.

Involved families, community leaders and now our political leadership at all levels have come together to fight this battle to save our children and our communities.

SurfaceDetect is now joining this battle, bringing some desperately needed tools to help in the fight. As with any serious illness, drug-use is best fought early on, before it turns to abuse and addiction. To do this, we need to be able to detect drug-use as early as possible. Our new drug detection tool allows for non-invasive yet highly accurate detection of narcotics.

SurfaceDetect is NOT used to test human beings, rather, it is used to detect traces of illegal narcotics on surfaces such as desks, keyboards, telephones, steering wheels, computer accessories, tables, filing cabinets, television remote controls and any other physical surfaces that are commonly touched by a person who may be using narcotics. All narcotics consumed by people are secreted out of the skin in microscopic amounts and leave traces on any surface touched by the user. We can test many surfaces in a workplace to assess whether there are any traces of illegal narcotics.
